Lifespan
Polar bears live an average of 15 to 18 years in the wild, but occasionally can live up to 30 years.
Size
A baby polar bear weighs only 1-1.5 pounds at birth, while adult males can weigh anywhere from 775 to 1,300 pounds!
Habitat
Polar bears are found in the frozen tundra of the Arctic region, including the United States (Alaska), Canada, Russia, Greenland, and Norway. Polar bears rely on sea ice to rest, breed, and hunt their prey.
